"John Avery defrauded my elderly mother whose memory is not what it used to be. He maliciously overcharged her with a renters insurance policy when NOTHING WAS EVER BEING RENTED. The policy could never be applied, to a home that was owned. John Avery is an untrustworthy person, either through exceptional incompetence or outright malicious fraud, he saddled her with a policy that could never apply to the actual insurance situation and inflated the cost of what she thought was "car insurance " significantly. John Avery told her she needed it. When car insurance was requoted by any other than John, everything was at least $200 less expensive ( for 6 months) on every quote because they weren't inflating the cost with property insurance that could never be used by the purchaser. He sold a retired senior citizen a rental insurance policy when there was already homeowners insurance covering the car which stayed in the garage. When she called to inquire they gaslit her about fees and never admitted the extra policy. Image attached of the cancellation. Whether its incompetence or fraud, I would advise you stay as far away as possible."

She was very apologetic (and embarrassed) when I shared with her the profanity-laced email that you sent me. I let her know that I was not aware of what you were referring, but had left a message with you that I would love to clear up the misunderstanding. Since then, you have left me another disparaging voice mail and now an inaccurate and disparaging review. We are not perfect, but have never operating as you have described here. I do not appreciate the inaccurate, disparaging review you have left. Words matter. The words you have shared in this review are not only inaccurate and unacceptable, but also are disparaging to your sweet mother. Per my last message, if you would like to discuss, you have my number. I really hope you have a great 2026 and beyond and sincerely wish you well."
