"I love this State Farm . They always are helpful and take time to listen and make you feel heard. I recently rent through a fire and lost everything. "This review is based upon my experience with Stephanie Southwell who has provided outstanding customer service on behalf of the State Farm Insurance Agency. My family and I are loyal customers of State Farm here in Michigan. After many years of great insurance, we naturally required communication for updates that were occurring with our coverage agreement. The new updates were not aligned with our prior years of Insurance coverage and caused a significant impact on our experience with the company. Stephanie worked diligently to resolve the disagreement by using empathy, excellent communication, and clear transparency during the escalation process. This situation was not easy for her to navigate to a successful outcome and that shows how dedicated Stephanie is to being a person you can trust with your family's values insurance policy. She always provided a positive attitude during the entire process. This situation is now resolved and the feeling she provided to me as a customer is remarkable! "I had a fabulous appt with Christina and switched our insurance policies for home and auto based on my experience with her. Not only did she promptly reply to my phone call, she has saved us a great deal of money as well as enhancing all our policies.She explained all in detail and made us feel very secure in changing our policies. "After years of being with State Farm and a separate agency, I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with John. After the winter storm of 2022 our roof caved in. Photo is part is an example of what State Farm says is not from storm damage. John never responded to my claims, John never once showed up to my home or help me facilitate my claim. I would not recommend John or State Farm. Save your money and find a different agent. If anyone knows a good insurance claims lawyer, please reach out to me."

"Vince, I understand you are frustrated with the home insurance claim decision received from claims. As we discussed, the claims department is solely responsible for claim decisions. As you and I discussed several times, I acknowledged there was an initial delay in me connecting with you due to a faulty email rule that routed your emails to an incorrect folder. Once that rule was corrected, there were no more delays in communicating with you. Though I wish you had called me when you did not receive a response to your emails, I understand your frustration from my initial delay of a few days to maybe a week in responding to your emails. However, your statements regarding my involvement with you are not accurate and unfair. I have communicated with you directly on your claim at least a dozen times between phone and email. I have also communicated with my claim partners several times on your behalf to set up additional inspections/reviews of your claim. The last email I sent to you on 8-23-2024 had an offer to meet with you to discuss your concerns. I received a response to that email on 4-2-2025 that I responded to that same morning letting you know that I forwarded your concerns to claims for handling. You then responded in an email on the evening of 4-3-2025 that I was no help and then posted this review. I own the honest mistake that caused the initial delays in responding and earned the criticism related to those delays. However, the other information you posted is inaccurate and should be corrected. I am still available to discuss the claim with you. I do hope you have a great rest of 2025 and beyond. "
